Rubiaceae

Trying to photoshop the images of my craters made with coffee on plaster, I accidently created an completely different image, modifying only the colours. I reproduced this same effect with every more colours, on real Mars pictures. I then tried it on the 360 landscapes of the robot Curiosity, making VR videos of this funky planet, that I called Rubiaceae. It made me think of these disco remixes of Star Wars themes, that I could use as the soundtrack of the piece.

Inspired by vintage posters, postcards, and trading cards, I decided to also modify old drawn postcards of deserts, to make saturated images that could be resembling pulp magazines drawings of my planet., I simply decided to age it using coffee, making the paper more used and brown. Also, it would bring a coffee smell to it, reminding of how could this planet smells. I also wrote stories at the back of the cards, to add to the veracity but also to the mythology of Rubiaceae.
