Les Secrets de l'Armée de l'Air
Following my interest around conspiracy theories, I started to look into the different levels of secrecy in the army, which is the most secret of all secrets. For that, I interviewed a French army cadet, who knows about these levels but doesn’t really has access to anything.
For the visuals, I decided to visually represent all the conspiracy theory research that could go into it, as well as referencing things said in the interview. I therefore mixed archives, Google Earth footage, movie extracts, Youtube videos etc.
The choice of letting the cadet speak in French and having the video subtitled was also a choice of making it even harder for the audience to comprehend all the information (videos, sound and subtitles) : just like someone researching this would be overwhelmed with information.
